Job Description
- Recording patients' medical history, vital statistics, and test results in medical records.
- Preparing treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Interviewing patients to obtain medical information and measuring vital signs, weight, and height.
- Assisting physicians in examining and treating patients, providing them with instruments and materials for minor procedures.
- Administering medications as directed by the physician.
- Collecting and logging laboratory specimens, preparing them for testing.
- Authorizing drug refills and providing prescription information to pharmacies.
- Explaining treatment procedures, medications, diets, and physicians' instructions to patients.
- Performing routine laboratory tests and sample analysis.
