Employment & Labor Litigation Paralegal / Administrative Assistant
Location : Los Angeles, CA (Westwood)
Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal with 5-7 years of experience to join our Los Angeles office. This role involves providing litigation and administrative support to multiple attorneys within our Litigation and Labor & Employment Practice Groups.
The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Support attorneys in all phases of litigation, from initial filings to trial preparation and post-trial procedures.
- Prepare, organize, and manage case files, pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research, draft summaries, and assist in preparing case strategy.
- Coordinate and manage discovery processes, including document production and review.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating depositions, hearings, and meetings.
- Prepare trial materials, exhibits, and binders.
- Provide administrative support, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
Qualifications :
- Experience : 5-7 years of litigation paralegal experience, with a focus on employment and labor law preferred.
- Education : Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited program.
- Skills : Strong organizational, research, and communication skills; ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume setting.
- Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, and legal research platforms (such as LexisNexis or Westlaw).
- Additional Requirements : Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines; detail-oriented and a team player.
