Application Support Specialist

LHH is partnering with a client in the banking and finance industry to find a skilled Application Support Specialist for a 6-month contract to hire position hybrid based in Seattle, WA.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with experience in financial institutions, specifically credit unions, who can provide exceptional support for core banking applications.

Key Requirements :

  • Financial Institution Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience supporting core banking software solutions, with a preference for credit union experience.
  • Technical Expertise : Proficiency in supporting and managing applications such as Fiserv / DNA core, Automate, CRM solutions, and ECM.

Strong understanding of Windows Server, SQL, and Oracle database installation and maintenance.

Communication Skills : Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts in layperson’s terms to business units and stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Application Management & Support : Ensure applications are up to date and functioning efficiently. Partner with business units to facilitate upgrades and provide training as the subject matter expert.
  • Collaborative Efforts : Assist with ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of various applications, collaborating with the IT team to meet service quality standards.
  • End-User Assistance : Help staff maximize the usefulness of enterprise applications and provide technical support for project-related activities.

Additional Details :

  • Experience Required : Minimum of 2 years supporting core banking software solutions. Experience with Fiserv / DNA core software is highly preferred.
  • Educational Background : Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Work Schedule : 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. Occasional on-call support may be required. Hybrid, 3 days in office per week.
  • Work Environment : Business casual dress code with a collaborative and communicative culture.
