Authoring business requirements for functionality to be delivered as part of the TriZetto product portfolio. Collaborating with other stakeholders to create the high-level designs and the detailed functional design artifacts that will be used to develop TriZetto products and solutions.

Serving as a subject matter expert in all areas of the software development life cycle (i.e., software engineering, quality assurance, and technical communications), assists customer support, sales and consulting / implementation services.

Job Title : Product Tech / Database Support with SQL

Role : Individual Contributor External Facing Role

Essential Functions :

• Analyzing and translating business and user requirements into high level designs and functional specifications which could include design of new or changed processing, data requirements, user interfaces, and / or database design.
• Identifying and sometimes creating alternative solutions to solve business needs and articulating the pros and cons of the various approaches.
• Participating in internal and customer meetings to clarify requirements, formulate design approaches and confirm they meet the business needs.
• Leading the collaboration with other product design teams to ensure that integration and interfaces between our products are an integral part of our planning and design process.
• Leading design discussions with System / Software Engineers and QA Analysts.
• Mentoring intermediate and associate level design team members.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.

Required Experience :

• Minimum of 5 years' related experience in a developing, enhancing and supporting products using the latest web technologies.
• Experience working as part of a Scrum team is required.
• Analyzing, troubleshooting, testing and coordinating to resolve reported software, data or technical issues for TriZetto software programs and applications.
• Ability to work with appropriate tools, platforms, languages, and application programs for troubleshooting testing and coordinating to resolve reported software, data or technical issues while providing status to internal and external clients on a timely basis.
• Triaging defects, impact analysis, resolution planning of the software architecture and application.
• Provides support for both the software operations and technical support for licensed customers.
• Participating in processes which facilitate knowledge sharing and team collaboration.

Desired Experience :

• Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of ClaimsExchange QNXT QicLink Facets Crystal Reports is an added plus
• 837 EDI, HIPAA transactions experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to present to all levels of management.
• Working closely with team members to assess, enhance, maintain and support software solutions to business problems. Using strong logic, computer language skills, combined with healthcare industry and practical knowledge, deliver and maintain applications and software providing comprehensive business solutions to the healthcare industry.

Technical Competencies :

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good to excellent facilitation, negotiation, influencing and problem solving skills.
• Using strong logic, computer language skills, combined with healthcare industry and practical knowledge, deliver and maintain applications and software providing comprehensive business solutions to the healthcare industry.
• Requires past experience with Windows OS, web services MSSQL SQL PL SQL and Stored Procedures
• Languages required is SQL

Salary and Other Compensation :

Applicants will be accepted till Oct 5th 2024

he annual salary for this position is between $90K-$109K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
