Maintenance Technician 2nd shift
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a variety of general maintenance functions including installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery and equipment as well as other facility / building systems.
Responsibilities :
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain production and facility equipment.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test and make adjustments to machinery as needed.
- Layout, assemble, install, and maintain plant piping systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Repair or replace gauges, valves, regulators, or related equipment as required.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, precision instruments, and other equipment required to complete daily tasks.
- Perform machinist duties and responsibilities.
- Read and interpret specifications, blueprints, manuals, etc. for various machinery, equipment, parts, and processes.
- Be able to weld and fabricate from prints and or drawings.
- Work cross-functionally with management and other departments to solve problems in the plant and implement safety initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge of and adhere to safety regulations.
- Maintain appropriate documentation for maintenance activities and file reports as necessary.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical and Electrical background preferred.
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics preferred.
- Welding experience preferred.
- Background with PLCs or robotics is a plus.
- High School diploma or equivalent (vocational / technical training or college degree is a plus).
- Must be able to work a 2nd shift schedule.
- Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship, now and in the future.
