Purpose (Overview of the job)

Hideaway Pizza is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to work at our Business Office in Tulsa, OK. We are seeking a specialist that can enter invoices, resolve accounts payable issues, process expense reports, and disburse payments, in a high-volume multi-unit environment.

Tasks (Day to day work activities)

• Daily review of mailed paper invoices.
• Manage high volume of digital invoices.
• Downloading and processing invoices using Margin Edge and Sage Intacct.
• Assist in setting up new vendors, contractors, and other service providers.
• Contact vendors as needed to research and resolve invoice and payment disputes.
• Process year end 1099s.
• Process business / mileage expense reports.
• Record manual checks.
• Post weekly ACH payments.
• Identify process improvement opportunities that help create efficiencies and ensure accuracy.
• Provide accounting support to the restaurants and communicate material variances to operations for review.
• Assist Senior Accountant and Controller with special projects as needed.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 to 3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in restaurant or multi-unit retail environment.

Requirements

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Strong proficiency with MS Suite / Excel skills and basic financial reporting software.
• Experience with Sage Intacct, Toast POS, and Margin Edge a plus.
• Ability to generate quality correspondence, spreadsheets, and reports.
• Proven ability to operate with competing priorities, often with considerable time constraint.
• Detail oriented constant learner, motivated, self-driven and adaptable.
• Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.
• Excellent communication skills and able to work well with various department personnel.
• Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality.
