About The Role

The Project Manager is responsible for working with senior management to plan, resource, manage, and deliver on internal Operations-led technical projects.

These projects will be delivered for all teams across the business, including but not limited to : Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Finance.

While the Project Manager may not be a subject matter expert in all areas of business management, it is expected that they can effectively engage with members of the business from front line staff to the entire C-suite, and with the technical resources tasked to complete the work.

They also possess a strong working knowledge of the Atlassian suite of Project Management Tooling (Confluence, JIRA, associated plugins) and be familiar with the design and administration of project workflows, in-line with industry best practice.

This role works closely with the rest of the Operations team to ensure consistency across processes and systems that are being followed by the entire business.

Additional responsibilities will focus on providing reporting and insight to senior management, as well as suggesting operational process improvements that will directly improve velocity and throughput.

  • Compensation Range : $85,487 - $122,568

Compensation ranges are determined by role and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the pay range for the position across all US locations.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

What You’ll DoSupervisory Responsibilities

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy

Main Responsibilities

  • Put measures in place to determine scope creep and delivery delay
  • Describe the business processes used by the stakeholders you support so that others can understand them, both within your department and outside of it
  • Enable analysts and technical resources to complete their tasks by serving as an escalation point, and unblock them so they can continue with their work
  • Conduct detailed requirements analysis and review, where necessary, to ensure scoping and planning is thorough and without gaps
  • Work with analysts, administrators, and trainers to define measures of success for each area of the project
  • Articulate how each project you support helps us achieve our company goals or meet a clear business objective with downlines and peers
  • Determine what resources will be necessary for successful project delivery within and outside your own team
  • Advise stakeholders and department leaders of themes you see in how our systems are supporting their users and suggest opportunities for improvement
  • Manage stakeholder expectations against requirements throughout the duration of the project
  • Identify and escalate risks throughout delivery, in parts of a project that you own or that others own
  • Accurately describe the processes being supported by our systems, but might not be proficient in every step of the click path
  • Maintain an understanding of the projects prioritized within the departments you support, and navigate trade-offs and competing priorities with department leaders
  • Determine the key objectives of a project via stakeholder conversations and leadership visioncasting with support from your leadership team
  • Deliver a detailed work plan that identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully deliver the project; you execute the project in accordance with the detailed plan developed
  • Coordinate training and delivery with all departments that are impacted by the project
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including maintaining composure and effective decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
  • Prioritize work effectively and coach to optimize overall team results

Education and Experience

  • BA / BS in a field such as Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering
  • 1-3 years project management experience in a business operations-focused role
  • 6-18 months experience with Salesforce.com in an administrator, tester, or support role
  • Experience directly managing delivery of complex internal projects
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced Sales environment
  • Experience using Salesforce, Marketo, DocuSign, Zuora, Zendesk, Xero, Netsuite or similar (nice to have)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar (nice to have)
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile process experience (nice to have)
