Responsibilities
The Lab Technologist will play a key role in supporting protein technology advancement as part of the Innovation, Technology, and Quality (ITQ) team, working across various product categories.
In collaboration with team scientists, the responsibilities will include :
- Contributing to product and technology development, progressing from concept through to pilot plant scale-up
- Preparing for experiments, including sourcing and organizing necessary ingredients and equipment
- Accurately measuring and weighing ingredients for experimental procedures
- Working with internal experts to understand lab methodologies, procedures, and testing protocols
- Carrying out experiments and producing products at both bench-top and pilot plant levels
- Conducting sensory and analytical testing on ingredients and finished products
- Recording data and documenting observations, sharing insights with the team in a timely manner
- Performing basic data analysis as needed
Education and Experience Requirements :
- A 2-year degree or a high school diploma, accompanied by a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in food product development or laboratory work
- Proficiency in basic computer tools (Microsoft Office, additional software as required)
- Fundamental understanding of food safety and health protocols
