Senior Packaging Engineer

Job Summary :
We're seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer to lead technical packaging initiatives for various engineering projects. You'll design and implement new or improved packaging solutions, ensuring projects meet goals and timelines.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead packaging work streams for life cycle management (LCM) projects, from concept to commercialisation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain, to develop and optimise packaging solutions.
- Manage and maintain packaging documentation for all assigned projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Evaluate new packaging technologies and support the setup and qualification of packaging equipment.
- Provide progress updates and presentations to management and core teams.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts within the packaging team.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in packaging development for medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
- Proven experience leading packaging projects and working in a regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 11607 and global testing standards related to sterile barrier packaging.
- Ability to work independently as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and mentor junior team members.
Preferred :
- Master’s degree and experience with sterile barrier systems and cold chain packaging.
