T&M Associates is currently seeking a highly motivated Supervising Engineer for our Natural Hazards Practice Area. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-office collaboration.
This role will support FEMA’s Risk Map Program in quantifying and mitigating natural hazard-related risks to build a more resilient nation.
The successful candidate will have experience in managing multi-disciplinary groups and projects. The right candidate can work from any location.
Responsibilities will include technical management by providing expertise on large modeling and mapping projects; project management by controlling large budgets and people management through supervision of engineers and GIS specialists;
and client management by building strong relationships with clients, and public meetings and presentations.
This position is primed for opportunity to grow the team, increase our client base as well as market share. This position is an important hire for our Natural Hazards Practice.
It is anticipated that this will be the one of many hires to grow the group around the successful candidate. This position offers excellent opportunities for growth.
Requirements :
- B.S in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience including project management utilizing Earned Value Management methods.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Familiarity with GIS is required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including both written and verbal communication, with an appreciation that listening is a part of communicating.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work in a team environment, self-starter, demonstrated organization skills, team player and willingness to learn
