The Role :
We are seeking a dynamic, commercially driven industry leader to serve as Vice President of Operations for the vibrant Denver, CO region.
This high-impact executive role will empower you to drive the success of all sales and operational functions within the region.
You will lead a team of 250-300 field staff, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality control while optimizing labor costs, driving sales, and achieving profitability targets.
This position demands a strategic visionary and hands-on leader who can inspire teams, forge strong client relationships, and leverage industry connections to achieve ambitious goals.
What You'll Deliver :
- Operational Excellence : Drive the achievement of regional safety and productivity objectives, effectively managing operations teams and allocating resources strategically.
- Strategic Growth : Develop and execute plans to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the region's operations.
Stay abreast of industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify expansion opportunities.
- Financial Acumen : Work with the Board of Directors to establish profit goals and formulate business plans. Monitor and report on goal achievement, ensuring the region's financial success.
- Leadership & Development : Manage and empower preconstruction, estimating, and field staff teams to achieve sales and profit goals.

- Client Relationships : Nurture strong relationships with key clients, architectural and engineering firms, and trade partners to foster collaboration and secure new business opportunities.
- Safety & Compliance : Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all local codes, regulations, and industry standards.
What You Bring :
- Proven Leadership : 5+ years of senior leadership experience in the electrical contracting industry, demonstrating a successful track record of managing large-scale operations and achieving profit goals.
- Strategic Vision : A strong understanding of industry-specific strategic planning and the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
- Financial Acumen : Expertise in financial management, including P&L statements, balance sheets, cash flow, forecasting, and labor productivity reporting.
- Industry Knowledge : In-depth understanding of electrical contracting industry compliance requirements, negotiation and contract law, and pricing strategies.
- Communication & Collaboration : Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Technology Proficiency : Comfortable utilizing modern operating systems, communication tools, and presentation software.
