Packaging Associate – Monroe, Wisconsin

Our customer in Monroe, Wisconsin is an award-winning food manufacturer seeking hard-working individuals to join their family-owned business. As a Packaging Associate, you will be responsible for packaging and inspecting food, as well as sanitizing the working area to ensure products are meeting top quality standards. The right candidate will have experience in machine operating, some mechanical inclination is helpful, ability to do production paperwork, trouble shoot, keep up with fast pace.

Responsibilities of the Packaging Associate :

• Load the product into package processing equipment.
• Verify and record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
• Sort, weigh, and inspect products, verifying and adjusting product weight or measurement to meet specifications.
• Verify accuracy and correctness of product identification labels and attach to finished packaged items.
• Remove finished packaged items from machine and separate rejected items.
• Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material.
• Palletize packaged product. Move pallets of cheese and totes in and out of production areas.
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.
• Tend or operate machine that packages product.

Packaging Associate Requirements and Qualifications :

Pay for Packaging Associate : Starting at $19.00 / hour.

Packaging Associate Benefits :

Type : 1st Shift, 2 month temp assignment

Schedule : Monday-Friday from 6am-3pm or until done with overtime every other Saturday from 5 : 00am until done.
