Acara Solutions is hiring a Business Development Specialist in Buffalo, NY for our client, a global supplier of fall protection and safety solutions!
We are seeking motivated and goal-oriented individuals interested in :
- Beginning their career in sales!
- Being mentored and developed into a business-to-business outside sales role
- Learning how to independently manage a sales territory, including potential future relocation!
Here's what you'll do :
- Develop qualified business opportunities through business-to-business outbound phone calls, averaging 50 calls per day.
- Implement strategic business development activities, including e-marketing campaigns, direct mailers, and drip-feed marketing campaigns.
- Write and share marketing intelligence reports for the outside sales force.
- Build custom target market contact lists.
- Set up, plan, and present product lines.
- Update customer / prospect database with your daily activities and new contact names.
- Conduct field sales calls with outside sales staff, to gain experience interacting with customers.
- Learn all aspects of the business, product line, and industry.
- Perform other specific tasks as requested by leadership.
Type : Direct Placement
Pay : $24 / hr. Plus commission opportunity!
Hours : M-F 8 : 00AM-5 : 00PM 100% Onsite

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Risk Management.
- 1+ year experience with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Preferred Skills / Qualifications :
- Experience with CRM tools.
- Proactive mindset to recognize direct and indirect opportunities for lead generation and sales.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt in a growing environment.
