As a financial analyst on our team, you’ll study the creation of a financial management strategy to help your client's project succeed.
You’ll help project managers, audit analysts, and financial experts develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals.
You’ll assist a team using laws, regulations, and policies to help the client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with audit and financial analysts, as well as working alongside the client.

You Have :
8+ years of experience in financial accounting, audit analysis, or audit readiness
Experience with FIAR methodologies
Experience with developing and implementing internal controls
Experience performing reconciliation of feeder systems, including researching differences and providing guidance on corrections
Knowledge of the Statement of Budgetary Resources Audit Readiness Guidance, including Department of Defense Financial Management Regulation, and audit requirements under the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation and General Audit Accounting Principles
Ability to be a team player, work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing requirements
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have :
Experience in gathering and validating initial evidentiary documentation in support of audit sampling
Experience with creating Corrective Action Plans
Ability to evaluate business process steps to align with risk assessment
Ability to deliver initial audit determinations and prepared position papers and fact sheets on findings
Ability to identify program risks, assist with associated mitigation plans, and assist with identifying and prioritizing requirements

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
