The Controls Specialist is responsible for continuously improvingautomated systemsto increaseequipment efficiency inhigh-throughput operations.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience overseeing and improving electrical and automated processes in a manufacturing facility, be self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package with career advancement opportunities.Summary of Responsibilities : Support MaintenanceManagementby communicating effectively and providing guidance to both the Electrical and Automation TeamsExecute industrial mechanical knowledge of process automation, PLC programming, HMIimprovementsandrobotic operationsEnsure functional design specifications are understood and successfully delivered on time and within budgetInvolvement in new project engineering and controls programmingUtilize lean-manufacturing principles by improving process capability, reducing overall costs, and increasing capacityMinimum Qualifications : Post-secondaryeducation in engineering, instrumentation, process control or electronics5 years of relevant experience related to industrial process automationAbility to prepare technical documentation such as shop drawings, operatingmanuals,training manuals, equipment reports, and employee assessmentsStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsAbility to lead and mentor Jr.
