Lakeside HR Group hasbeen engaged to recruit a Compensation Analyst position located inPrior Lake Minnesota. The Compensation Analyst is responsible foranalyzing implementing and administering compensation policiesframeworks and programs including base / fixed compensation variablecompensation / incentives deferred compensation and executivecompensation.

The position will evaluate and analyze externalmarket data to develop recommendations for maintaining or improvingcompetitive pay programs and recommend solutions or alternativeactions to resolve compensation related problems.

As asubjectmatterexpert the Sr. Compensation Analyst will driveprocessimprovement mentor and educate on Compensation and own largeprojects.

This position is also responsible for ensuring thatenterprise compensation programs are consistently administered incompliance with internal policies andregulations.

Primary JobDuties :

  • Serves as a compensation subjectmatter expert (SME) and consultation partner to internal HR andbusiness leaders on compensation related activities andinitiatives.
  • Leads the analysis developmentdesign and implementation of various broadbased compensationprograms including salary structures dualrate wage adjustment andincentive plan programs with a focus on market competitiveness andalignment with compensation philosophy andstrategy.
  • Evaluates and prices job usingmarket data to provide recommendations that meet business needs andinternal equity. Particular focus on difficulttomatchpositions.
  • Develops reviews and updatesvariable compensation / incentive plans that help drive businessobjectives and team member and employeebehavior.
  • Supports the design and leads theadministration of pay programs including annual merit reviewprocess incentive plans offcycle pay increases and marketadjustments.
  • Develops and deliverscompensation training materials and communications for inperson andvirtual platforms to Human Resources team leaders team members andemployees on compensationrelated topics including but not limitedto trends regulations salary structures salary administration andprojects.
  • Edits and maintainsorganizational charts and job profiles ensuring all requiredapprovals are obtained and maintained within electronic files.

Responds to questions and issues regarding organizational chartsand position profiles.

  • Partners with the HRIS team toensure that data is accurate for use by the compensation departmentand human resources and that modules / systems are workingeffectively.
  • Ensure the compensation programscomply with company policies practices andprocedures.
  • Collaborates with crossfunctionalteams including Human Resources Finance and IT on any compensationprogram design program setup and configuration financial budgetingor system updates.
  • Actively seeks to improveefficiencies in all compensation processwork.

JobRequirements :

  • Bachelor’s Degree orequivalent combination of education andexperience.
  • 5 years of experience incompensation and / or analytics.
  • Advanced proficiency in MicrosoftExcel. Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Word andPowerPoint.
  • Experience owning largecompensation programs and projects endtoend including planningcommunication administration andevaluation.
  • Experience creating andoperationalizing variable pay plans andprograms.
  • Experience with human capitalmanagement systems such as UKG (formerly UltiPro) Workday Oracleetc.
  • Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills to partner with all levels of Human Resourcesleaders team members andemployees.
  • Commitment to high quality ofwork and excellent customerservice.
  • Demonstrated ability to workindependently and handle multipleprojects / priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to solveproblems through innovative solutions and soundjudgment.
  • Demonstrated ability tounderstand and analyze data to tell astory.
  • Demonstrated ability to identifyprocess improvements and take initiative to develop implement anddocument new / improvedprocesses.
  • Demonstrated ability to developcommunications and training materials and present at all levels ofthe organization.
  • Understand and ensure compliancewith regulatory requirements of compensation such asFLSA.
