Employment Type : Fulltime Permanent with AXISCADES.
Position Overview
The Metallurgical Engineer will interact with the Metallurgical Laboratory and clients to perform failure analysis reports that are crucial for driving engineering decisions within the product groups.
Job Responsibilities
Photograph as-received part and document all identifying markings.
Develop and facilitate the completion of the test plan.
Create the final lab report with conclusions.
Work is very collaborative, involving regular interaction with team members.
Education & Experience Required
BS in Materials Science and Engineering.
2-4 years of experience required.
Technical Skills Required
At a minimum, exposure to metallurgical laboratory equipment.
Technical Skills Desired
Experience performing failure analysis.
Soft Skills
Creativity, verbal and written communication skills.
Analytical and problem-solving ability.
Team player and detail-oriented.
