Job Summary

As the Senior Executive Chef, you'll lead the culinary direction at this location. Collaborating closely with our partners, you'll craft a culinary journey tailored specifically to our location, ensuring that every guest / fan who walks through our doors enjoys an unforgettable experience.

We're seeking an experienced and visionary leader who can articulate a culinary vision that motivates our team to excel each day!

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Buildingg a strong partnership with our onsite partner and developing a shared culinary vision for the location
  • Representing Levy and our business objectives at partner meetings, networking and building relationships with key partners and vendors
  • Overseeing and ensuring the highest standards of safety and sanitation in all activities across the culinary department
  • Interviewing applicants interested in roles requiring your hiring consideration and approval
  • Identifying opportunities and driving improvements in both the food and financial performance
  • Overseeing season planning process ensuring alignment with Levy and partner expectations / goals
  • Overseeing menu design and updates in line with food trends and internal data, cost of goods, and popularity
  • Overseeing project management of construction / refurbishment activity that happens in the department
  • Conducting event walks interacting with team members, guests, partners, and VIPs
  • Creation of menu build diagrams
  • Working closely with the regional and Home Office culinary teams to continually evolve the food experience for guests
  • Working in partnership with our partners and regional leadership team to develop location strategic plan
  • Conducting department safety walks so it maintains an outstanding level of safety and cleanliness

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as an Executive Chef in a high volume atmosphere
  • Ability to taste and evaluate food and beverage products
  • Culinary degree from a reputable culinary school is preferred
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to manage budgets, control costs and drive profitability
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulation
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a guest focused mindset
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and professionalism
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Experience in the use of social media is preferred
