We are seeking an Equipment Repair Technician in Wixom, MI.
Position Summary :
Performs troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining welding and vehicle body measuring equipment in our Wixom facility.
Hours : Monday Friday 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm
Pay : $18.00 - $22.00 / HR, depending on experience
Position : Full Time, Temp-to-hire opportunity
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Performs warranty and non-warranty repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance on products according to manufacturer requirements and procedures
- Supports product inquiries and investigations by working closely with Engineering and Sales personnel as products are developed
- Documents service repairs
- Performs data entry into the service system as required
Qualifications and Requirements :
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Moderate understanding of Electronics (preferred, but not required)
- Strong mechanical ability and equipment repair skills with the use of hand tools and basic electronic testing equipment
- Computer skills : Basic proficiency with Windows operating systems, as well as Office 365, experience in using Service Ticket systems (Freshdesk preferred but not required)
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, including technical writing skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Reliable transportation
