Job Title : Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
Candidates will be performing mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies and large components. You will work independently and in teams in a specified work area to complete OEM assemblies.
You will read and follow entry-level blueprints, shop orders, specifications, and other instructions to build and assemble parts and equipment accurately and timely.
Additionally, you will measure parts accurately using scales, micrometers, and calipers, and utilize overhead crane and rigging procedures.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in reading and assembling both sub-assemblies and mid-assemblies from 2D and 3D prints.
- Possession of personal set of tools.
- Ability to work independently with limited training.
- Experience using rigging equipment, power tools, and hand tools.
- Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and make metric system conversions.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and other manufacturing instructions.
- Knowledge and ability to use hand tools and machine tools such as drill press, band saw, and cut-off saw.

Work Environment
Growing company with upward mobility. First shift hours are from 6am to 2 : 30pm with overtime available. Second shift hours are from 2pm to 10 : 30pm with overtime available.
The facility is clean and well-lit, working on new equipment.
