Description of Work

Research and Innovation has an opportunity for qualified candidates to apply for a position with the Office of Sponsored Programs’ Pre-Award Team at one of three levels :

Grants Coordinator I ($50,110-$58,787) : Provide institutional oversight for submission of external funding proposals, verifying compliance with University, State, Federal, and Sponsor guidelines and regulations.

Provide specialized guidance to faculty and staff in gaining knowledge of, acquiring, and finalizing external proposals.

Work with faculty and staff from multiple disciplines to coordinate proposal submissions and budget development. Support post proposal submission and non-financial post-award transactions such as sponsor requests and Just-In-Time documentation.

Grants Coordinator II ($54,904-$69,570 ) : Provide institutional oversight for submission of external funding proposals, verifying compliance with University, State, Federal, and Sponsor guidelines and regulations.

Provide specialized guidance to faculty and staff in gaining knowledge of, acquiring, and finalizing external proposals.

Provide oversight and training for department-level professional and support staff assigned to grant activities. Work with faculty and staff from multiple disciplines to coordinate proposal submissions and budget development.

Support post proposal submission and non-financial post-award transactions such as sponsor requests and Just-In-Time documentation.

Grants Coordinator III ($62,068-$82,761) : Provide institutional oversight for submission of external funding proposals verifying compliance with University, State, Federal, and Sponsor guidelines and regulations.

Provide specialized guidance to faculty and staff in gaining knowledge of, acquiring, and finalizing external proposals.

Provide oversight, training and / or mentoring for other OSP staff. Also provide oversight and training for department-level professional and support staff assigned to grant activities.

Work with faculty and staff from multiple disciplines to coordinate proposal submissions and budget development. Support post proposal submission and non-financial post-award transactions such as sponsor requests and Just-In-Time documentation.
