Research and Innovation has an opportunity for qualified candidates to apply for a Conflict of Interest position within the Office of Research Compliance Services at one of four levels : Conflict of Interest Coordinator I, II, III, or Manager.
The Conflict of Interest Coordinator I level is hourly, and the Conflict of Interest Coordinator II, III, and Manager levels are salaried.
This position performs functions related to the oversight, guidance and direction of the UNL Conflict of Interest Program, processes, and policies.
The primary focus is applying policies and regulations to provide expert advice and training to university administrators and employees on matters relating to COI in research and preventing non-compliance with organizational policies and procedures relating to COI in research.
The Conflict of Interest Coordinator II, III, and Manager will also have duties specific to training, creating management plans, and leading the Conflict of Interest in Research Committee (CIRC). Other duties as assigned.
