We are seeking a Social Media Manager for a contract to hire remote role. Compensation depends upon experience level. 3+ years experience with social media management and content creation required.
Experience with User-generated content (UGC) is a major plus. The Social Media Manager will develop the strategy and manage the administration of their social media platforms.
You will be reporting to the Director of Marketing and will manage the company online image to achieve their marketing goals.
As a Social Media Manager, we expect you to be creative, passionate, and up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a social media strategy to align with our business goals, creating an extension and engagement of the company e-commerce business
- Create, edit, publish, and share engaging daily content, developing a regular publishing calendar and schedule
- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics, and develop performance targets and ROI
- Be the main point of contact on platform performance and testing, as well as integration
- Collaborate with other team members, such as marketing (email marketing, paid media, e-commerce, and influencers), sales, and customer service
- Ensure brand consistency and develop social media strategies that aligns with sales and marketing campaigns
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
- Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications
- Perform research on the company portfolio of products and services, and support efforts across all
Requirements and skills :
- Proven previous experience as a Social Media Manager, developing overall strategy and implementation
- Previous industry experience in Wine, Adult Beverage, or Luxury brands is preferred
- Hands on experience in content management across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Outstanding copywriting skills and excellent communication skills
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video).Ability to develop User-generated content (UGC) is a major plus
- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
- Knowledge of online marketing channels
- Familiarity with web design
- Analytical and multitasking skills
- BSc degree in Marketing, and / or minor or certification in social media
