The Website, Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager role will play a pivotal role in enhancing our global digital presence, creating strategy for the website and digital experience, managing social media strategy, and promoting our brand across various online platforms.
This role will be responsible for developing and executing digital strategies, creating engaging content, and utilizing social media to connect with our target audience.
This role requires strong strategic, creative and writing skills, up to date on the latest digital and social platforms, social media strategy and design experience, a keen understanding of what is on (and off) brand, solid judgement to act independently, and the ability to work collaboratively across the organization.
Reporting to the Director of Customer Experience, you will amplify Axalta’s brand and drive engagement through internal and external social platforms.
We are searching for a teammate who can both tell engaging stories and deliver succinct strategic communications as well as work collaboratively with team members from around the world.
Essential Functions
Develop and implement digital strategies that are aligned with business goals, enhance digital capabilities (website, social, CRM, Martech, etc.
and improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Develop related processes, governance, content creation, and reporting.
Formulate and execute comprehensive social media strategies. Create a content calendar for internal and external social media campaigns.
Develop, approve and launch creative content including video, motion graphics, and static content.
Align to an overall Industrial business content calendar to support key message pillars, segment and product strategies and corporate content.
Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish metrics for measuring the success of digital campaigns. Track success of social media efforts through various online analytic tools, measure progress and adjust strategy as needed.
Foster and maintain a strong online community presence. Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, engage with followers, and address customer inquiries or concerns.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including SMA (strategy, marketing, and analytics), communications, corporate, and other functions, to ensure that digital strategy is aligned with business goals and social communications are clear and meet corporate and business brand standards.
Collaborate with influencers, partners, and stakeholders to expand reach.
Present, communicate and engage fellow colleagues to advance awareness and engagement, internally.
Train marketers, sales, distributors, and internal employees on new ways to leverage digital go to market tools including the Salesforce Suite, Adobe Experience Manager, Meltwater, and other key digital engagement and measurement tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, IT, or a related field. Master’s a plus but not required.
- 7 years of experience as a Website Manager, Digital Manager and / or and Social Media Manager or in a similar role.
- Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives within large organizations is ideal.
- Proven experience in managing digital technologies along the customer journey, from awareness to sale to loyalty.
- Creative content development experience is necessary.
- Exceptional writing, editing, proofing, and project management skills are essential.
- Strong understanding of digital technologies, trends, and their applications in business. Certifications a plus.
- Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation tools.
- Possess an elevated level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively across all levels of the business.
- Able to prioritize work projects and multi-task
- Ability to exercise professional judgment and assume responsibility for decisions that have an impact on employees and / or external followers.
- Flexible with changing needs and directions as plans change, ability to be agile when change happens.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and internal social media platforms like Dynamic Signal, Social Chorus or Slack
