JOB SUMMARY : Under the direction of the Grant Manager, theGrant Coordinator will support grant activities, including data entry, deliverables tracking, quality improvement, and purchasing.
The Grant Coordinator is responsible for grants with meaningful programmatic components, specifically that have impact in the clinic.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provides support on tracking deliverables for Clinic based grants
- Update grants manager on grant deliverables and barriers
- Coordination of designated grants and / or a liaison to designated grant leads to ensure the timely and accurate completion of all grant objectives including expenditure of funds and achievement of objectives in accordance with the Scope of Work for each project.
- Ensure completion of data entry for grants that require manual patient level data entry
- Provide training for staff related to the Scope of Work at the direction of the grants manager
- Collaborate with quality, data, and program staff to support grant execution and reporting.
- In collaboration with department directors and compliance and grant manager ensures that grant-funded contracts follow funder, government, and organization policies and procedures.
- Work with program staff and grant manager to develop grant implementation plans as needed.
- Maintain an understanding of grant budgets, allowable costs, contracts, and grant parameters.
- Support accurate and reasonable time and effort reporting to ensure grant compliance.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Attend required internal meetings, trainings, and events.
- Special Projects as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
- At least 1 to 3 years of experience in a health center or outpatient clinic, project management, and / or experience working with federal, state, and local grants as well as foundation grants
- Bachelor's degree in public health, health administration, social work, education, non-profit management, or related field (not required).
Experience will be considered as an equivalent of formal education.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to guide and manage change in a fast-paced setting
- Strong people skills and ability to work with different people
- Ability to track numerous deliverables and ensure successful completion
- Ability to accurately and carefully input data into a variety of databases
- Ability to learn quickly and navigate various funding compliance policies
- Strong skills in technology, primarily using various databases and excel.
PAY & BENEFITS :
Benefits : Tepeyac offers a full compensation package to all full-time employees. Benefits medical, dental and vision insurance, a flexible spending account, a 401k, disability insurance paid for by Tepeyac, nine paid holidays, four weeks of vacation and 6 days of sick leave each year.
Pay : The salary range for this position is $60,500 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience.
