Position Summary
Must be able to perform all of these :
- Performs routine system maintenance to the enterprise resource management (ERM) system using basic problem-solving techniques to define problems and escalates issues to management.
- Books routine monthly journal entries and performs account reconciliations.
- Receives general instruction to work on providing data / numerical inputs for budget and forecast preparation.
- Participates in cross-training for different functions.
- Works with supervision to assist internal and external auditors to prepare audit requests as well as making continuous improvements to internal controls to ensure compliance with JSOX and COSO Internal Control Framework.
- Develops relationships with stakeholders and prepares standard financial and operational reports and estimates to present to stakeholder.
Additional Responsibilities
- Determines course of action based on guidelines to improve processing transactions and eliminate manual journal entries.
- Develops financial subject matter knowledge and supports various business planning projects by exchanging information with colleagues.
- Develops knowledge of ERM system and assists in guided testing on ERM system changes.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Communicate with all levels of employees in organization, balance multiple priorities,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), and COSO Internal Control Framework.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities including ad-hoc projects.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Analytical skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn new financial software systems as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) candidate preferred.
Education / Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; 1+ years of experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
- At least one (1+) years of work experience in accounting.
Work Environment
- Hybrid Role : Remote work 2 days per week (After 90 Days Onboarding)
- Travel Required : None
Compensation : The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $55800- 67,000 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
