A highly prestigious Addison Group client in the Rockville, MD area is seeking a no-task-too-small, hard working Administrative Assistant to support office operations as well as clients.
This is a Contract-To-Hire Position
Hourly : $20.00-$23.00
Primary Responsibilities :
Primary responsibilities include assisting in the office reception area (e.g., answering phones, greeting visitors, etc.
and providing comprehensive administrative support in the office.
- Specific duties include :
- Maintain a professional office environment for staff and tenants to ensure appropriate levels of organization, efficiency, and cleanliness
- Direct the flow of guests and correspond with clients
- Answer and direct phone calls; check emails
- Set up meetings and events; send out correspondence / preparing meeting minutes
- Maintain and manage the office calendar and schedule meetings and client presentations
- Update program database and use internal software
- Procure office supplies and take inventory
- Process mail and packages
- Set up and maintain client files
- Produce periodic, complex reports and present results
- Interface with vendors and serve as main point of contact for external vendors
- Execute communications with stakeholders
- Develop working relationships with clients, vendors, and internal staff
- Responsible for minimal executive assistant duties, including : internal and domestic travel arrangements, expense reports, and travel itineraries for office executives
Qualifications :
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in professional services in an administrative or operational capacity
- Must have the ability to maintain professional demeanor and to speak professionally to office executives
- Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced and customer service oriented environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite
