We are actively seeking a Service / Help Desk Technician based in O'Fallon, IL. This position is a full time, onsite role.
This position requires an active DoD Secret clearance.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Puyenpa team supporting the Mobility Air Force Distributed Mission Operations (MAF DMO) contract.
The main responsibilities of the role include :
- The Service / Help Desk Technicians troubleshoot and track network problems to resolution for both the DTCN and IAN, to include coordinating with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), ATS CLS, CORs, other external network agencies and local communication service providers as required.
- Support AMC / A3TD and the ATS training managers in the coordination of MAF DMO activities and information exchange on the program.
- Support training events per the MAF DMO Event Management Standard, including participation in exercise planning conferences and coordination with HQ AMC, 618 AOC, and participating units.
- Open and update trouble tickets, provide status reports to the Government as required.
- Assist in identifying causes and corrective action to resolve network problems.
- Provide status to the Government within 24 hours on network outages.
The qualified candidate will have the following knowledge and experience :
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 to 8 years' experience or BS degree with 0 to 2 years' experience.
- Possess DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
- Security+ and Computing Environment (CE) certification IAT I - II level compliance at a minimum. IAW DoD 8570.01 compliance.
- Previous experience providing customer services in a DoD service desk environment. Knowledgeable in DoD ticketing systems (Enterprise Remedy, ServiceNow, etc.)
