Location : Everett, WA
Pay Rate : $85,000 - $120,000 / year Depending on experience
Our North Seattle based client is looking for a Senior Accountant. Candidate must have experience in the Construction / Electrical Engineering industry, a Bachelor's Degree, and be proficient in using accounting systems.
The Senior Accountant role consists of payroll, A / R, A / P, and general ledger accounting.
Responsibilities :
- Manage monthly close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Generate recurring financial reports and provide ad hoc reporting as requested by management.
- Oversee tax compliance, including payroll taxes, sales tax, and federal tax filings.
- Support and execute daily financial operations, including AR, AP, Payroll, and job costing as needed.
- Prepare and analyze data for audits, reviews, renewals, and other financial-related processes.
- Oversee the management of company-owned assets, including maintaining accurate depreciation and amortization schedules.
Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience in the Construction / Electrical Engineering industry.
- Proficiency in accounting systems.
