Continental Drilling & Service, a Synergen company, was established in 1953 with hard work, grit, and unrelenting drive to do right by its customers.

In the 70+ years since, we have cemented our legacy as the gold standard in water well drilling, irrigation, and pump services across the Gulf South.

Continental Drilling employees three drilling crews and four pump service crews who operate between four drilling rigs, a machine shop, and regular maintenance facilities.

These crews are experts in their respective fields, tested by every kind of weather and terrain imaginable, and they are unbeaten.

We are actively seeking an Project Manager at Continental Drilling & Service, a Synergen company, located in Shreveport, Louisiana that would be responsible for bidding, procuring, and managing communication with clients, as well as submitting related documents to the proper authority and tracking project status.

They will prepare the Drilling and Service teams with the appropriate supplies and material to complete the project.

Essential Functions of the job include, but are not limited to :

• Prepare job packets with essential information
• Assist in creating a database of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Meet with customers to stake and discuss water wells / boreholes and their placement
• Prepare bids and attend bid meetings
• Perform quality control inspections and relay findings to the appropriate managers
• Schedule jobs so that equipment and personnel usage is optimized
• Troubleshoot service calls
• Dispatch service technicians
• Complete 811 notifications and track status
• Perform estimator rolls for civil projects
• Be accessible by phone to team members and clients
• Complete all required well registration documents
• Attend conferences, trade shows, and continued education courses
• Organize and inventory storeroom with job related supplies
• Submit monthly partial pay estimates
• Source job material and third-party contractors

Qualified applicants must posses the following knowledge, skills, and abilities :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years experience estimating projects
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Experience working with Microsoft Office suite
• Troubleshooting abilities
• Customer service skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment :

• Use hands or fingers; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Lift and / or move up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
• Work environment can include working outdoors in elements / weather
