Position Summary
- Theselected student applicant will assist the Environmental Engineering labs intasks including but not limited to inventorying equipment, chemicals, samplesand wastes in lab spaces labs;
- implementing safety and best practices protocolwithin the labs as advised by the lab manager; preparing lab spaces forresearch and course-based experimentation;
performing lab experimentation orfield collections as needed; maintaining professional housekeeping within labs;updating virtual databases that maintain lab safety and organization.
This position will report to either a specific CWE faculty professor or the Environmental Engineering lab manager. Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge and practice of generallaboratory and chemical safety. Experience with basic aqueous chemical experimentation and samplingfocusing on environmental water quality methodology.
Proficiency with latest Microsoft Officeapplications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, . Ability to work safely andindependently on delegated tasks with attention to organization.
Completedgeneral lab safety training. Declared Civil Engineering junior or senior withcompleted coursework relating to environmental science and engineering.
