Job Title : Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will interpret blueprints, set up and operate machinery, and ensure the quality of the finished product.
Your responsibilities will include setting up chucks, vises, and fixtures, compiling and verifying information, documenting program data, and using pneumatic and electric tools safely.
You will need to maintain awareness of tolerances, flatness, and other specifications while deburring parts and ensuring that the workspace remains clean and organized.
Hard Skills
- Reading blueprints
- Setting up and operating lathes or mills
- Using a micrometer for measurements
- Using pneumatic tools (90-degree mini grinder, straight mini grinder)
- Using electric tools (4 grinder, 8 grinder, drill press, hand drill, sanders, pedestal grinders, hone tools)
- Using CNC codes to operate machines
