Position Specific Description

This Position is located at NextEra Energy's Corporate Campus in Juno Beach, Florida. It is imperative that the individual be physically located at our Corporate Campus.

NextEra Energy, the industry leader in clean energy, is seeking an innovative, dynamic individual to join the Estimating Group within the Engineering & Construction Division.

This senior level position will be filled by an individual with experience in renewable estimating or construction and a passion for helping NextEra Energy deliver clean, reliable power to its customers.

The Lead Project Estimator will be a key member of the inventive and vibrant preconstruction estimating team and will support design of projects for NextEra Energy.

The ideal candidate has experience in the renewable industry, a highly developed understanding of construction means and methods, a deep understanding of wind and solar construction requirements, robust project management skills, and strong leadership qualities.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross functional teams involved in project development, planning and execution to develop project estimates and improve estimating tools.

This position is a leadership role within our team, but not a management position. Day to day responsibilities include leading the preparation of estimates, the development of pricing models, and evaluating new technological innovations in the industry.

The candidate will have the ability to grow their skillset, as our team also works on other technologies including energy storage, oil and gas pipelines, transmission lines, substations, and simple & combined cycle fossil power generation.

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
