JOB TITLE : PUBLIC POLICY ANALYST AUTOMOTIVE
DURATION : One year with possible extension
LOCATION : Warren, MI (On-Site)
NOTE : Ability to work W2 Assignment is Required
Job Summary :
This Team has daily exposure to the Automotive Manufacturer’s Sales, Service and Marketing Departments. Will work with them daily.
Cross functional across every business unit across Sales, Marketing, Digital, Parts, and Legal. This team works specifically in the Public Policy Organization.
Working with various groups, interacting with customers withing our Company. We currently have a team of one and are looking to grow.
Job Responsibilities :
- Serve as a resource for the Public Policy organization to determine business impact of proposed legislation, including research and outreach to our Company’s Business Units.
- Prepare presentation material to support Director of State Dealer Franchise Public Policy and Manager of Industry Dealer Affairs.
- Prepare communication material to inform affected business units on the status and outcome of legislative activities.
- Develop and maintain tracking reports on legislative activities.
- Maintain Microsoft Teams file page for Dealer Policy Center of Excellence.
- Maintain Microsoft SharePoint page for Dealer Policy Center of Excellence.
- Coordinate monthly newsletter material for Dealer Policy Center of Excellence.
- Meeting and event planning.
Qualifications :
- Academic Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5 years of experience
- Excellent written, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills- preparation
- Exceptional organization skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to think independently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Comfortable working with all levels of leadership
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
