Position : MARKETING COORDINATOR
Position Summary :
Under direct supervision of Marketing Director, the Marketing Specialist will be
responsible for promoting the hospital, its service lines, and primary and specialty care clinics; development and
execution of marketing campaigns; writing and editing for newsletters, press releases, social media content and special
events planning.
Job Duties / Responsibilities :
1. Assists director in conducting research, writing strategies for marketing and advertising campaigns, and
overseeing execution and measurement of campaigns for Hospital and Physician Offices and all other
subsidiaries of Universal Health Services.
2. Writes and edits copy for internal and external publications, including press releases, social media content and
be able to take a lead role in coordinating collateral materials.
3. Identifies sponsorship and promotional opportunities for the hospital, as well as plans, executes and supports
special events associated with sponsorships.
4. Assists in maintaining external website content.
5. Assists with media inquiries and coordinating and pitching media stories.
6. Collaborates with Hospital and Physician Offices and all other subsidiaries of Universal Health Services on
projects to enhance marketing of service lines.
7. Manages brand for all distribution of marketing collateral for health system.
8. Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
Graphic Design, Social Media content writing and planning experience required

5. Must have emotional stamina to deal with a variety of stressful situations including response to complaints,
maintaining a calm demeanor and good judgment under stress.
