We are currently seeking an experience Project Coordinator for our San Diego facility. In the role, the successful candidate will manage the company's ground crew, outside vendors and provide excellent customer service.

This role reports directly to the Vice President.

SALARY RANGE :

$105,000 - $140,000 DOE

WORKING HOURS :

Monday-Friday, starting at 5am, 8 to 10 hours per day and occasional Saturdays. This position is on-site.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Plan, organize, and supervise roofing projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Get interior measurements and be able to communicate to the estimating department.
  • Outbound calls to customers and handling inbound customer concerns.
  • Communicate to customers, employees, and insurance companies by phone and / or email.
  • Conduct Pre-Job conferences with customer and foreman.
  • Develop and implement Safety Program for each project.
  • Conduct safety checks on every job visited.
  • Attend weekly production meetings.
  • Performs other work-duties as assigned.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES :

Report onsite at 5 : 00 am to the Baldwin Park facility for each workday. Additionally, one day each week will require closing the Baldwin Park yard, ensuring that crews return from sites and are prepared for the following day.

Occasional Saturday work may also be expected.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

2+ years in general construction, project management or direct roofing experience required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :

  • Demonstrated effective supervisory skills.
  • Ability to motivate and direct the actions of others in a positive and uplifting manner.
  • Excellent knowledge of roofing techniques and materials
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Proven ability to work under minimal direct supervision.
  • Ability to utilize computers, smartphones, and other relevant technology.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of roofing legal issues and safety standards (preferred but not required)

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

This position will mainly be in an office setting at a desk equipped with computer, monitors, phone, and other applicable resources / equipment.

Job site visits are required from time to time. It will require the applicant to routinely sit, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb up and down ladders and bend for up to 8 hours.

Position requires the occasional lifting of objects up to 10 lbs.
