Job Title : Tableau Lead (REMOTE)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 8 to 12 years of experience specializing in Tableau and Property & Casualty Insurance.

The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in Tableau API Tableau Bridge Tableau Prep Database and SQL Tableau Desktop / Creator Tableau Cloud and ANSI SQL to drive impactful data solutions.

This role is crucial in transforming data into actionable insights benefiting both the company and society.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
• Utilize Tableau API to integrate data from various sources and ensure seamless data flow.
• Implement and manage Tableau Bridge to facilitate secure data access for cloud-based analytics.
• Use Tableau Prep to clean transform and prepare data for analysis.
• Design and optimize database queries using SQL to ensure efficient data retrieval.
• Create and manage Tableau Desktop / Creator projects to deliver high-quality visualizations.
• Leverage Tableau Cloud to provide scalable and accessible data solutions.
• Apply ANSI SQL standards to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of Tableau reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the value of Tableau tools.
• Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and best practices to continuously improve data solutions.
• Contribute to the company's mission by transforming data into actionable insights that drive business success.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive experience with Tableau API Tableau Bridge and Tableau Prep.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Database and SQL including ANSI SQL standards.
• Have a strong background in Tableau Desktop / Creator and Tableau Cloud.
• Show expertise in Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Display strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies.

Salary and Other Compensation :

Applications will be accepted until 10 / 21 / 2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $84,000 - $95,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
