Title : Instructional Designer

Quantum Improvements Consulting is seeking a skilled Instructional Designer to join our team to support training development under an Air Force contract.

The position is expected to start in September / October 2024. Applicants will be required to pass a security background check.

Location : Buckley Space Force Base near Aurora, CO.

Position Duration and Dependency : This position is initially for a one-year term, contingent upon contract award. The duration may be extended based on the performance of the successful candidate and the evolution of project requirements.

Excellence in performance and contributions could potentially lead to opportunities beyond the lifetime of the initial contract.

Salary Range : $75,000 $95,000

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Work on an agile, government-led team to analyze business processes and create military-oriented training in support of Business Analysis functions and emergent Robotics Technology.
  • Develop a comprehensive, enterprise-wide, tiered competency framework
  • Ensure all training activities are represented in a tiered role-based access set of dashboards for individual trainees and managers at all echelons

Qualifications :

  • Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in instructional design
  • Proven track record of creatively interpreting, integrating, and disseminating large volumes of information
  • Relevant experience related to professional development content creation and / or business education, performance of business process definition, and business process modeling in a Talent Management / Human Capital environment highly desired
  • Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools and software
  • Familiarity with web and LMS delivery platforms
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the ADDIE model
  • Ability to work effectively with SMEs to extract and transform knowledge into learner-centered training
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring minimal QA issues like typos and grammatical errors
  • Ability to adapt and respond to feedback, ensuring training objectives are consistently met
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Work Environment :

This position does not require physical activities beyond a typical office environment. It does require computer use, web-based video communications, and telephone use.

Travel :

No travel is required for this position
