Purpose of the PositionEO isseekinga dynamic and innovative individual to join our team as theSchoolCoordinator, Education + Emerging Workforce.

In this role, you will be a part of the development and launch of Career Commons, a pioneering initiative that will revolutionize youth workforce development in our region.

Career Commons will provide hands-on career learning experiences for youth of all ages, creating a unique and impactful approach to career exploration.

In this role, you will oversee all aspects ofinteraction with school districts that includecommunication, development, and management to ensureexpectations for attendingare met to support all education and emerging workforce programs.

Areas of Responsibility : SchoolDistrict / StudentManagement : Develop and lead thestudentengagement strategy for all education and emerging workforce programing including : html - developingrelationshipswithschool districtstoincrease awareness and gain program participation - manageschool district / educator / parentinformation and databases - prepare and provide proper training toschool districts / educators - develop strategies to aid in the retention ofschool district participationStakeholder Engagement : Regularly communicate and prioritize and balance the needs of educators, employers, and volunteers, to align goals and create mutually beneficial working relationships.

Program Coordination : Adhere to standards of operation and logistical plans to support educational partners and students visiting Career Commons.

Liaison with school districts on programming supportCollect data and testimonials fromeducators / studentsduring visits to Career Commons to enhancestudentexperiences and support reporting on program impact and outcome reporting.

Education and Experience : A minimum of an associatesdegreeor higherfrom an accreditedtwo-yearor four-yearcollegeor university.

At leasttwo (2)yearsor moreofworkexperience,preferably in the education or non-profit sector.Knowledge and Skills : Experience with the launch of educational programs.

• Excellent project management skills : ability to balance multiple priorities with proven ability toanticipatechallenges, solve problems, andmaintaina calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
• Experience with caseload management, including regular communication, following up on tasks andmonitoringprogress.?Experience building relationships with educational institutions and other partners.
• Strong communicationand presentation skills.?Positive interactions with all school districts and all levels such as leadership, educators,studentsand parents.

Computerproficiency(Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Adobe, Publisher).? html - The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• High energy, outgoing personality and approachable positive attitude isrequired. - Knowledge of the service area, including its strengths, culture, and challenges.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collect and analyze data.? - A background in nonprofit management and / or youth education.
• Residency and Travel-It is preferred that applicantsresidein the service area and are available to attend early morning, evening, and / or weekend meetings on a periodic basis.

They should also be able to travel independently.Language Skills-Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.

Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write briefs and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.

Ability to make compelling and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and / or boards of directors.

Mathematical Skills-Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
