In the absence of the General Manager, the AGM must be able to assume all duties of the General Manager and must be available to work all shifts.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Managerial and operational experience in the hospitality field;
- Communicate with customers, co-workers and understand instructions;
- Lead and direct shifts;
- Obtain a ServSafe or other state required certification;
- Proficient on a PC.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Assist General Manager with training and development. Hire, train, motivate and develop new team members;
- Communicate with team members to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures;
- Oversee operational responsibilities in conjunction with General Manager. Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs;
- including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs;
- Improve performance and results of Castle by motivating team to focus on meeting and exceeding all goals and delivering the expected profit;
- Supervise and lead castle team members by providing guidance and direction in conjunction with the General Manager;
- Ensure all aspects of sanitation such as product preparation, stock rotation, food handling and general cleanliness are in compliance with operational standards and company polices;
- Oversee food preparation and quality control;
- Have a true passion for making customers happy by supervising operations and working with Crew Managers to resolve issues and take appropriate action to turn dissatisfied customers into happy customers that will return;
- In conjunction with the General Manager, oversee operations for adherence to safety standards and a safe work environment at all times;
- Increase profitability through marketing by optimizing and using all materials provided by the Marketing Department;
- Must have the last two annual (or regularly scheduled*) performance appraisals or four out of the last five annual (or regularly scheduled*) performance appraisals rated as Consistently Met Expectations or Effective 11-2016 must be Solid Performance of 3.
00 or better under the REACH appraisal system.
