Responsible for coordinating the supply chain activities for assigned drilling rigs through performance management. Responsible for key supplier and stakeholder relationship management activities related to daily operational activities and supply chain strategies.

The main priority of the role is end-to-end purchasing (placing POs, expediting and invoice matching for the team) including but not limited to supply chain planning and execution, logistics, local contract management, supplier relation- ship management, cost management, and operational readiness.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related discipline.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain field, preferably within the oil & gas industry
  • Integrated ERP system experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, i.e., Excel.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain the highest standard of personal conduct in performing all duties.
  • Possess organization and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to adjust to work routines, as required, to meet the needs of the company.

JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Procure material and services as requested, making applicable independent commercial decisions within established authority limits by utilizing available on-line computer inquiry functions in IFS.
  • Ensure that all purchases of repairs, services and third-party charges comply with Noble’s policies and procedures, as well as rig standardization guidelines.
  • Maintain professional supplier relationships and communicate to leadership when risks are identified.
  • Interface with office and rig personnel regarding their requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in reconciling issues with accounts payable, delivery, receiving and other departments as needed to assure an efficient payment process.
  • Expedite purchase orders with the suppliers and update delivery dates in the system.
  • Participate in interdepartmental projects / activities as assigned.
  • Work independently on a day-to-day basis.
  • Review assignments with management regularly.

TRAVEL

Travel for shorter and longer assignments expected / per business requirement.
