Provide support to the fiscal policy group :

  • Provide cross-project meeting planning and logistics support.
  • Track technical advice requests and team engagements.
  • Help to coordinate with fiscal policy teams and across program where needed.
  • Support state selection and prioritization processes across the fiscal policy group.
  • Assist in compliance efforts in conjunction with colleagues from Legal and Government Relations.
  • Support processes that ensure timely tracking / information sharing across fiscal teams related to state outreach, policy and practice changes, influence and engagement with key stakeholders, and progress against annual plan milestones, project deliverables, and strategy objectives.
  • Participate in activities that support program and Pew-wide objectives.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Time- and project-management skills.
  • Demonstrated research and analytical skills, including a capacity to synthesize and summarize large amounts of information and to focus quickly on the essence of an issue.
  • Political awareness and non-partisan perspective and approach.
  • Systems skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Generally, one year of applicable experience.

Travel

This position requires occasional domestic travel to meetings and conferences.

Benefits

Salary Range $63,800 USD - $71,300 USD. The salary range represents a reasonable estimate of the annual salary based on Pew's commitment to provide equitable and market-competitive pay.

The actual salary offered will take into consideration many factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills and experience, internal pay equity, and business need.
