Overview of Position
The Risks and Controls group is a centralized non-client facing team that ensures the integrity of ACBS, accuracy of the General Ledger, and ensures the bank's compliance with Federal Regulations, Credit Policy, and State Laws through loan audits.
This team includes quality control for loan system input, reconciliation of cash and balance sheet accounts, loan audits, collateral monitoring, and ACBS G / L accounting support.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality control reviews for system input on loan disbursements, loan payments, miscellaneous system edits as well as CORE loan bookings via ACBS and FiServ Signature to ensure adherence to both Bank and department standards
- Update internal tracking metrics as needed
- Review system generated reports as needed
- Identify error patterns and training opportunities for Servicing and Booking and provides information to management for resolution
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- At least two to five (2-5) years of banking experience
- One (1) year of commercial loan servicing experience preferred
- Experience with ACBS preferred
- General understanding of loan documentation
- Familiarity with MS Outlook required and MS Word and Excel experience a plus
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize daily workload
