Position : Asset Management Analyst
Location : Hybrid at one of the following offices - Bloomington, MN; Bloomfield, CT; Philadelphia, PA; St. Louis, MO; or Morris Plains, NJ
Contract Length : 6 months + extensions
Target Compensation : $40-$45 per hour
Job Purpose
The IT Asset Management (ITAM) Analyst will be responsible for managing assets for Infrastructure Engineering Collaboration Technology Services.
The ITAM analyst will provide guidance and manage ITAM activities which includes maintaining software and hardware assets and repositories from acquisition through final disposition for voice, video, and collaboration services.
In this role the analyst will oversee compliance, software renewals, life cycle planning and cost optimization. The analyst will collaborate with vendors and business partners to ensure timely delivery of software and hardware assets to enable our business to function in a seamless and secure manner.

Responsibilities
- Work with functional teams to manage and maintain IT asset inventories (Hardware and Software Asset Management Database).
- Act as a liaison between the development and operations teams to communicate changes and expected issues in production environment for asset management.
- Responsible for request fulfillment using SLAs, utilization, tracking, compliance, and final disposition of assets.
- Manage contracts and relationships to maximize value creation and costs for software licensing, maintenance, and service offerings.
- Submitting purchase requests for new assets and related supplies as needed
- Responsible to collect information for budgeting, software compliance and inventory, contract summaries, and cost comparisons.
- Responsible for reporting / analyzing software installations versus software licenses.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains.
- Participate in defining requirements, processes, and procedures for asset management strategies for the enterprise.
- Participate in ongoing improvement initiatives to automate and achieve operational excellence.
- Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to define business needs.
- Responsible for analysis that assists with the management of maintenance, support and license renewals in advance of their expiration.
- Assist with problem-solving and escalation matters related to asset management.
- Maintain hardware inventory of assets within the appropriate management systems and ensure assets are properly documented (i.
e., serial number, asset tag, name, etc.).
- Coordinate with enterprise procurement, accounting, and vendors on ordering, receiving and invoicing software / hardware assets.
- Provide support to IT and Legal areas in the contract management areas of RFI / RFP, vendor selection, contract negotiation and contract administration for assets.
- Provide reporting (scheduled and ad hoc) as need to support the ITAM Governance activities.
Qualifications
Required :
o Bachelor’s degree in related field
o 3-5 years Asset Management experience.
o ServiceNow and CMDB experience
o Basic knowledge of various IT assets, including but not limited to servers and networking infrastructure.
Desirable :
o 7 years of information technology
o Voice, Video and Collaboration Asset Management background
