About the Role :

Leads a team of cybersecurity experts within TD SYNNEX s Global IT Security team. Responsible for the implementation and operation of security technologies, controls and processes in support of TD SYNNEX's information security policies and standards.

Provides leadership, coordination and operations planning to accomplish the defined goals and objectives. Maintains the security platform of tools and processes.

Monitors effectiveness of controls and supports internal and external audits. Collaborates with peer and senior management in IT and in the business to reduce risk to the company and to continuously improve security services.

Educates TD SYNNEX colleagues and business partners on cybersecurity best practices. Supports regulatory and policy compliance.

What You'll Do :

Leadership role for the department's colleagues (40%)

Responsible for security service delivery and continuous process improvement (20%)

Organize implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies (20%)

Support incident and problem management (10%)

Audit and assurance testing for controls health, regulatory and policy compliance (10%)

Reporting to IT Security leadership

What We're Looking For :

Bachelor's Degree with IT field of study required.

5 to 8 Years of relevant work experience.

1 to 3 Years of experience directly managing / supervising employees.

Other Education / Certifications : selection of security and technology certifications and / or equivalent proven work experience

Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.

Able to converse and write effectively in English.

Able to create and conduct formal presentations.

Able to interact effectively with all levels of management.

Possesses strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills.

Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.

Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.

Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.

Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.

Able to quickly learn new systems and technology.

Working Conditions :

Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.

On-call availability required as necessary.
