LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Tax Accountant in St. Louis, MO . Ideal candidates will be able to assist in the preparation of tax returns, support the senior accounting staff, and provide experience in various accounting and tax-related tasks.
Title : Junior Tax Accountant
Location : St. Louis, MO
Schedule : Monday-Friday; Standard hours of operation
Compensation : $50,000 to $60,000 annual (flexible upon experience)

Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in preparing individual and corporate tax returns.
- Review and analyze financial statements for tax implications.
- Conduct tax research and stay current with changes in tax regulations.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of tax filings and related documents.
- Support the senior accountants in tax planning and consulting projects.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on their tax status.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Participate in professional development and training sessions.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is helpful, bot not required
- 0-2 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field is preferred
- Basic knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay Details : $50, to $60, per year
