Job Description : The Role :

The Role :

Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking a QA Analytical Chemist I to join our team. The new hire in this role will be working 3rd Shift, which is Monday- Friday, from 10 : 00pm-6 : 30am.

As a new QA Chemist, you will be responsible for conducting QA testing and providing analytical support to production for our Micro-Contamination control and membrane products as well as for R&D development .

The QA chemist will prepare and test samples using the following analytical instrumentation : Ion Chromatography, TOC, FTIR, NVR, Karl Fischer, and ICP-MS.

What You'll Do :

Work in a clean room environment to c onduct routine QA product testing of filtration and membrane products from manufacturing.

Follow and document standard operating procedures for conducting required tests.

Prepare samples for analysis and load instrumentation.

Analyze and interpret test data, maintain documentation of test operation and ensure data quality and integrity.

Perform preventative maintenance and trouble-shoot equipment.

Remove and dispose of waste chemicals in accordance with company established safety procedures.

Handle requests appropriately and in a timely manner .

What We Seek :

A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline

Strong internship / co-op experience in a related field.

Strong scientific approach and high attention to detail.

Ability to collaborate and successfully work in a team environment.

A self-starter, with the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and follow established protocol in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work 3rd Shift Hours (M-F, 10pm-6 : 30am)

Outstanding Candidates Will Have :

A ny experience running analytical instrumentation is a plus.

Demonstrated problem-solving skills will elevate a candidate.

Previous cleanroom experience is preferred but not required .
