Burke is actively seeking a proven consultative seller and client relationship developer, in the market research and insights arena to join our team and bring their industry expertise in financial services, healthcare, CPG, travel and leisure, or technology verticals.
Our Headquarters are in Cincinnati, Ohio but you may work remotely from your home office. Occasional travel is required.
What You’ll Do :
Grow our client base through new business prospecting efforts using your own established network from past clients, business relationships, uncovering new relationships, and expertise in this field.
You'll be leading the charge to create your top client list with whom you'd like to work.
Guide and consult with your clients. Become a trusted partner and extension of their marketing / product / insights / business.
Define problems with the client, develop marketing research plan designs - quantitative and qualitative as needed, oversee the execution of complex studies with your teams, analyze data, and uncover insights and share those to guide our clients in making the most informed decisions possible.
- Manage your own P&L, be an entrepreneur running your business. Grow that business profitably through ongoing consulting, selling, planning, and executing qualitative and quantitative custom research and strategy engagements for new and ongoing clients.
- Build collaborative operational relationships across your project teams with whom you’ll work closely. Serving as both a leader and mentor.
- Utilize your expertise in a wide breadth of custom research and innovation areas in product lifecycle research, new product innovation, communications testing, segmentation, marketing strategy, pricing, advertising awareness, branding, customer loyalty, customer experience, and many other strategic marketing areas.

- Lead workshops and "What's next" meetings with clients to help them fully be able to incorporate results and recommendations in their organizations.
- Sometimes perform analyses, interpretation, report, and storytelling for presentation of conclusions, and follow up consulting with clients.
What You’ll Need :
- Qualified candidates MUST have the drive and experience selling and managing custom survey research projects utilizing the latest methodologies both in qualitative and quantitative research and consulting with clients to provide value-added insights.
- A mix of client side and the supplier side marketing research experience is ideal with expertise in a breadth of research areas.
- Must have proven successes working with operations’ teams as well as demonstrated skills in relationship management requiring both client and team first focus.
- Excellent strategic narration and presentation skills - via in person, phone, or Zoom / online.
- Demonstrated experience with both custom research + other data from sales, social media, etc. and synthesizing for the richest story.
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant marketing research experience of which at least 2+ years in business development.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master’s or MBA is preferred.
