Job Details

Responsibilities :

As a Water Resources Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following :

1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of water resource projects, including stormwater, sewer, grading, and wastewater.

2. Developing and implementing project plans, including design, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

3. Coordinating with various teams to ensure that all aspects of the project are in alignment and progressing as planned.

4. Conducting risk assessments and implementing risk management strategies to mitigate potential project issues.

5. Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding water resource management.

6. Providing technical guidance and support to the project team, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

7. Communicating effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure that project goals and objectives are met.

8. Continuously monitoring and reviewing project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the Water Resources Project Manager position will possess the following qualifications :

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in water resource management, specifically with stormwater, sewer, grading, and wastewater.

3. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.

4. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.

5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.

6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of audiences.

7. Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as AutoCAD, GIS, and hydrologic / hydraulic modeling tools.

8. A thorough understanding of local, state, and federal regulations regarding water resource management.

9. A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest industry trends and best practices.
