THE POSITION

In this position, you will be responsible for all quality assurance activities and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

You will develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and material control systems. You will ensure that quality is maintained in all factors involved in production.

You will be accountable for building functional excellence to support business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide clear leadership across the site to develop an environment focused on Quality.
  • Mentorship and develop a team, setting priorities, establishing goals and action plans.
  • Develop strategies from a quality standpoint to improve production processes.
  • Manage and maintain ISO-9001 Certified Quality System and site QMS
  • Monitor and improve KPIs to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Manage multi-functional teams collaboratively, negotiate, and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the Quality strategy.
  • Ensure current procedures, standards, and specifications are up to date to meet customer requirements.
  • Manage and carry on Internal / External Audits program.
  • Lead CAPAs to ensure effectiveness through main quality-focused tools such as 8D’s, fishbone, DMAIC, 5 Why’s, etc.
  • Responsible for maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers to maximize communication and ensure site profit.
  • Manage control of the nonconforming material process.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Ability to meet quality standards ISO 9001, Manufacturing / Assembly Operations, Quality principles, RCCAs, control plans, etc.
  • Exposure to PFMEA, APQP & PPAP
